Flowers on Film

Although wedding videos have been a tradition for decades, recently video has become even more popular. This has been driven by trends on social media, and advances in high-quality filming equipment. We have had the privilege to work with wedding videographers across Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire, producing incredible records of memories of your big day, all carried out without disturbing the sanctity of the occasion. Similarly, we are extremely lucky to work with cinematographers on our Bridal Editorials, creating artistic productions, and expressing our narrative in film-form.

About Fleur Provocateur | G&T Film

As much as I love sharing photos, I am not one to get in front of the camera myself. However, the very lovely and supremely talented Gaby and Tye of G and T Film, made this not only completely painless but really quite enjoyable. Here is a little bit more about Fleur Provocateur.

As you will probably recognise from our selection of films on this page, G and T Films are our absolute go-to people. Gaby and Tye are seasoned professionals in the creative world; Tye working in film for the past 15 years and Gaby for the past 10 in visual art and graphic design. Very luckily for us, this year they have moved Australia to Somerset, and have already become absolute diamonds of the South-West wedding industry.

Harvest Moon | Marshwood Manor | G&T

Yet again, Gaby and Tye completely knock it out the park. I approached the talented duo to join our team for a Harvest Moon bridal editorial. G and T’s film captured the very essence of the storyline; redolent of folklore with a celestial aesthetic. With unparalleled eye for capturing beauty, and unwavering enthusiasm, these two are simply a delight to work with.

T & M | Mapperton House | G&T Film

Another absolute triumph from the brilliant Gaby and Tye. This gorgeous Dorset wedding was coordinated by the lovely Helen of Punch Events, and held in Beaminster and across at Mapperton House, Dorset.

C & E | North Cadbury | Darren Jack

Darren Jack Wedding Films created this incredible film, of a wedding held at North Cadbury Court, Somerset. My favourite element of footage has to be the girls walking to the Church holding the bouquets. The care, time and effort Darren took over capturing it all and putting it together so incredibly well is outstanding. Not only that, he is a lovely person to work with!

Behind the Scenes | G&T Film

This was my first project working with G&T Film. Being in front of the camera is a daunting experience, yet Gaby and Tye make is an absolute breeze. The rather unglamorous behind the scenes of setting up wedding flowers, and being a wedding flowers was so creatively filmed and beautifully edited.

E & S | Warmwell House | Andrew Gemmell

This is an absolutely stunning film produced by Andrew Gemmell of The Filming Business. A gorgeous wedding held at Warmwell House, Dorset, captured beautifully.

There is a really touching story to how the Bride knew of this talented videographer.

“One of the most precious weddings of the year for me. In November last year the Bride called me to ask if I was the same Andrew Gemmell that filmed her Aunt and Godmothers wedding at Westminster Abbey 20 years before. She was a bridesmaid then. Aged 10. She said she had watched the wedding video every year many times and had always said she’d want that same person to film her own wedding. It was the same and today is the day.”

A & W | Gathering Barn | Ben Radley Films

This video is produced by Ben Radley Wedding Films, at the lovely Gathering Barn in Wiltshire. The moments of the girls with the bouquets are just ones that every florist dreams of!

“We have some truly beautiful inspiration to share with you today, which was inspired by Greek Mythology. These images and accompanying film are dreamy, ethereal and oh so romantic. There were the most decadent florals; with a bountiful bouquet and a moongate flower arch backdrop, which was adorned with greenery, willow, Dahlias and trailing Amaranthus. The results are just breathtaking!”

C & T | NCC | Floating Castle Films

This lovely wedding, captured here by Floating Castle Films, must have been held on the hottest day of Summer. The parasols perfectly fitted in with the theme, but were also put to good use. It was a joy to decorate the outside pagoda at North Cadbury Court, Somerset, and work with this fabulous team.

Amour | Almonry Barn | Simon and Kiana

Featured on Bridal Musings

Simon and Kiana Photography joined our fabulous team for a styled shoot at Almonry Barn, Somerset. This UK wedding inspiration took a timeless colour palette of blush and gold and updated it with modern unabashed swathes of pink and colourful pops of fuchsia. Strong inspiration was drawn from the textured surface of rose quartz and the romantic setting of the oldest wedding barn in England. Neon pink details – on the hand-painted stationery, lighting and smoke bombs – formed a key part of the aesthetic, adding modern elements to this shoot and giving the style a contemporary feel. “Amour” was the anchoring inspiration lifted from the Stevie Wonder classic My Cherie Amour: “My cherie amour, pretty little one that I adore, You’re the only girl my heart beats for.”
