HAUSER & WIRTH
Award-winning gallery and multi-purpose arts centre has exhibitions of contemporary art, a landscaped garden and a varied programme of activities for children.
Outside is Oufolf Field, a large perennial meadow, offering a chance to interact with the great outdoors as well as find out more about the Somerset landscape. There are also events in the garden itself.
The Newt in Somerset, formerly Hadspen House, encompasses a hotel, gardens, orchards, farm, produce, cider, apple juice, bakery, gelateria, buffalo herd, restaurant, cafés, garden museum.
Stourhead is an National Trust estate at the source of the River Stour just over the borer in Wiltshire. The estate includes a Palladian mansion, the village of Stourton, gardens, farmland, and woodland.
The gardens were designed by Henry Hoare II and laid out between 1741 and 1780 in a classical 18th-century design set around a large lake, achieved by damming a small stream.
