Our Key Tenets
Choosing a florist is so much more than your flowers. Which team you want to be around you - calming but fun influences. The design; from linen to furniture and stationery advice. Recommendations built from 20 years experience in the industry. Logistical bliss, it all happens like magic. And - awe inspiring florals.
We specialise in large floral installations. Transforming an entrance, ceremony or blank marquee, evoking awe and wonder from your guests.
They can serve as the main focus and frame the scene for the perfect photo opportunity for couples' photos or family groups. Indoor installations on staircases or fireplaces make superb winter backdrops when the weather is inclement.
All our installations are 'plastic/foam free'. The big installations are created on a bespoke metal framework with built in water source. Each installation is created as a floral design for its situation and season. They comprise of living trees, shrubs, potted plants as well as cut flowers and foliage created to compliment your overall scheme.
Colour is Caroline's forte.
Qualified in Garden Design, she is best placed to guide you through the myriad of options, whether it is soft dreamy whites, pale pastels, joyously uplifting corals, peaches, or dramatic exciting reds.
"I will hold your hand however dynamic your scheme, with an ever constant eye to seasonality, I can advise you what is prime and available. Combinations, graduations.and transitional colour create the entire atmosphere and personality of your event."
It is an extremely personal choice and is absolutely centre stage when we design your floral scheme.
Think interior design for weddings - it is so much more than just flowers.
We will work together on the design concept and styling, ensuring you get continuity throughout, taking inspiration from the surroundings, through the crockery, linen, cutlery, furniture to create a thread that runs throughout your wedding. It will be individual and completely bespoke to you.
The flowers are then the creative key, that bind the whole story together.
Little Black Book
With over 15 years experience in the wedding industry, Caroline's 'Little Black Book' is brimful of personal contacts. A wedding is not built by one supplier alone, here at Fleur Provocateur, we see it as a team effort.
With personal insight and understanding of clients' aspirations, we can guide you toward the wedding planners, marquees, caterers, prop hire companies who will compliment your event perfectly.
We only recommend those we have worked with and have full confidence, it’s all about the building the ultimate team.
Just like Magic
We (and by extension - you) have a fantastic team, your own wedding cheerleaders. Onsite, we make the build seamless, allowing you to completely relax and let the magic happen.
"I can't express how lucky I felt to have had you and everyone else at FP as part of "my team" in the run up to the wedding. You were all such calm, optimistic, cheerful presences that made the week leading up to the wedding so fun and enjoyable.
Thank you too for so many tiny pep talks, bits of advice and laughs when they were most needed - I so appreciated how above and beyond, in so many ways, you went to create the perfect day for us."
We all have to do our 'bit'.
For us at FP, it is an absolute ban on toxic single-use floral foam. Instead it's a lot of imagination, creating bespoke floral mechanics using recyclable chicken wire and moss. Large shrubs trees and plants are integrated into installations and with care can be used again and again. We have a one hour driving radius from the workshop for events, it's a little concession to help improve our carbon footprint.
The flowers are variously sourced from local grown flower farms, to imported. All spent flowers and foliage are composted and returned to the garden to nourish next years harvest. If we all do a little bit it adds up to something better.
