R & S | Stourhead | Big Bouquet

These incredible photos are taken by the talented Big Bouquet team of Emma and Ian. This wedding was so incredibly special with the ceremony at The Temple of Apollo, overlooking the gardens and lakes of Stourhead, Wiltshire. Before the reception at the stunning Chaffeymoor Grange, Wiltshire with Apex Marquees and Victoria Blashford Snell. Do take a look at the full blog post.

“They got married, perched on the edge of the temple, with an audience of friends and family, and what a spectacular spot to tie the knot. Flowing with flowers and magical touches, guests and bridal party alike had to walk through a dark and mysterious grotto before heading up to the flower-adorned structure.”                                                                                      – Words by Emma of Big Bouquet Photography

WWW | Forde Abbey | Katherine Newman

This collaboration, featured on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings, looks through a Pre-Raphaelite lens on the Greek myth of Persephone and Hades;  presenting the story of love and abduction in vivid and rich textures and colours.

Plunged into the Underworld, through a moongate of amaranthus tendrils, contorted willow, and deep burgundy dahlias, Persephone falls in love with Hades. Forde Abbey, Dorset, was the most fitting backdrop, complete with beautiful lakes,  classical Greek follies and impeccable gardens.

‘Inspired by Greek Mythology, these images and accompanying film are dreamy, ethereal and oh so romantic. There were the most decadent florals; with a bountiful bouquet and a moongate flower arch backdrop, which was adorned with greenery, willow, dahlias and trailing amaranthus. The results are just breathtaking!’

N & B | North Cadbury Court | Joe Kingston

Based around jewel colours this is one of my favourite colour schemes, and Joe Kingston went above and beyond photographing these flowers. The impressive North Cadbury Court, Somerset, was gorgeously decorated with a purple theme, and the flowers replicated this with different tones.

“Caroline was the only florist I met with who was able to work creatively around my budget, she came up with ideas where we could save money but still have flowers with impact. She did that with absolute aplomb on the day – I couldn’t believe how beautiful and unusual the flowers were,  our guests were genuinely amazed by them.

Most importantly Caroline really listened to what I wanted regarding colour and the flowers that I wanted to include because they meant something personal to me. Caroline was amazing at answering any questions I had no matter how basic, and was incredibly generous with her time.  I would 100% recommend Fleur Provocateur to anyone.”

Amour | Almonry Barn | Liz Baker

Featured on Bridal Musings

A timeless colour palette of blush and gold and updated it with modern unabashed swathes of pink and colourful pops of fuchsia. Strong inspiration was drawn from the textured surface of rose quartz and the romantic setting of the oldest wedding barn in England. Neon pink details – on the hand-painted stationery, lighting and smoke bombs – formed a key part of the aesthetic, adding modern elements to this shoot and giving the style a contemporary feel. “Amour” was the anchoring inspiration lifted from the Stevie Wonder classic My Cherie Amour.  This inspiration is packed with stylish ideas: an asymmetric floral arch installation, a gorgeous macaron tower and the oversized silk bow to the low-back dress are just a few not to be missed.

Also, the arch!! I loved the photos that Alan and I have with it during the ceremony, but what I didn’t anticipate was the number of people who got their own photos with it as well!”
