With N & P being industry friends, it was an honour to be chosen as their Somerset wedding florist – however the pressure was on to raise the bar! Wells Cathedral was an epic space to hold their service and had a special connection to the couple.
The overarching theme of the day was an abundance of natural beauty, with florals and foliage woven seamlessly throughout. Special attention was paid to the big arch installation which served as a welcoming focal point. As guests entered the drinks reception, they were greeted by a fireplace installation, incorporating large birch trees and a mass of flowers and foliage. This contemporary design set the stage for the rest of the evening.
An Epic, No Holds Barred Cathedral Wedding

The wedding weekend, started with an OTT rehearsal dinner. Think cascading foliage on gold candelabras, tumbling flowers in peach coral tones, abundant fruits, scented herbs, and artichokes. This Dutch still life design also incorporated jewelled bugs and butterflies, to surprise and delight guests as they were seated. We love a brief that includes the opportunity for some fun and that sparks conversation.
The wedding photographs captured by Sophia Veres perfectly captured the magic of the day, showcasing the beauty of the cathedral and the thoughtful details throughout N & P’s wedding. We couldn’t have been more honoured to be part of this celebration.
From the very first conversation with Caroline, I was so beautifully looked after, and my thoughts and inspirations were made a reality. She really took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and what my thoughts and feelings were towards our wedding in its entirety.
Her creativity and her knowledge of not only flowers, but of other suppliers, decoration, styling and the wedding day as a whole was such a blessing to me, whilst in the throes of wedding planning.
My flowers were more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, they tied our whole wedding together and every single guest noted that they elevated every room and their overall experience at our wedding. They created such a romantic energy and added something truly special to our day.
Our tablescape for our rehearsal dinner, was everything I could have asked for and more. Caroline took the time to put small details in to reference myself and my husband which made a time that was already exceptionally special, the most memorable weekend of our lives.
The small details created such depth to her creations, every guest was transported to a place of pure happiness and love. Our wedding was only made better with Fleur Provocateur’s exceptional contribution, and we will be eternally thankful to her and her wonderful team. We were so lucky to have had FP be a part of our celebrations!”
