We were thrilled to be part of L&T's special day, held in the historic town of Bruton Somerset, a stone’s throw from our Somerset wedding flower workshop. The couple's vision was to create a pre-Raphaelite masterpiece, with a soft white and green colour scheme, bringing the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside to their celebration.
The ceremony was held at St Mary's Church. As a sustainably minded wedding florist based in Bruton, it was important to us that we championed local growers for this wedding, and some of the flowers were grown just down the road in Charlton Musgrove.
Photographer: Sophia Veres
Venue: Roundhill Grange
The choice of florals perfectly complemented the natural elegance of the church .A floaty, almost ethereal white meadow created a beautiful aisle scheme, and a wildly abundant installation on the rood screen encircled the couple for the exchanging of their vows.
The reception was held at the stunning Roundhill Grange, with local food from Roth Bar and Grill featuring locally reared beef and produce. As a wedding venue, Roundhill Grange provided a lush backdrop for L&T's celebration, with its grand yet intimate setting. The meadow aisle runners later moved to the marquee, creating a seamless transition, and tying together the entire celebration with the beautiful nature of Somerset.
With phenomenal photographer Sophia Veres capturing each moment, L&T's wedding was a symphony of Somerset talent.
