Congratulations to 'J & C' on their beautiful summer wedding held at the stunning North Cadbury Court in Somerset. As a Somerset wedding florist, we loved the different parts of this creative brief, reflecting the different facets of this couples style – from party panache to elegant romance, with a natural lightness tying it all together. This wedding highlights how versatile floral design can be when telling your unique story.
Starting with the night before the big day, we flowered a rehearsal dinner for the lovely couple. This was a Bierkeller themed event. Rough-hewn tables with terracotta pots blossomed with brightly coloured geraniums and begonias for a relaxed party feel. The Bavarian oompah band added a fun and lively element that had everyone on their feet.

The scheme for the church ceremony was a naturalistic design, including tall beech trees (we adore working with trees and larger scale elements – the impact and wonder they create is always amazing). The brief was to bring the outside in. The living trees and meadow design filled the church with light and created a serene tableau for the exchanging of the vows.
For the wedding reception, we created tall hourglass stands that were wild yet elegant and refined. The large mantelpiece display behind the couple created a stunning backdrop. The flowers in crystal vases were beautiful, weaving together an array of soft colours, shapes, and textures.
It was such a pleasure to have been a part of this special day, and we wish J & C a lifetime of happiness.
